Born and raised in the legendary blizzards of Buffalo, New York, Brooke Summers learned early how to handle snowstorms—and command attention. A proud graduate of Williamsville North High School (“Willie N” to the locals), she carried her Western New York grit into adulthood.

After attending SUNY Buffalo for several years, Brooke felt the call to serve and enlisted in the United States Army. She spent three years on active duty stationed at Fort Campbell, an experience that shaped her discipline, confidence, and lifelong pride in her service.

Following her military chapter, she returned to school at Austin Peay State University, initially studying Education before realizing her gift for communication—and her undeniable ability to command a microphone—belonged in a different lane. She pivoted to Communications, setting the stage for a career built around connection, storytelling, and personality.

Today, Brooke Summers brings that energy to CJ Country, where she dishes the CJ Country Daily Dirt weekday mornings at 8:20am on Jimi Jamm’s show. Her sharp delivery and relatable style have made her a daily must-listen. She also hosts numerous holiday specials throughout the year, adding her signature voice to some of the station’s biggest seasonal programming.

Beyond the mic, Brooke is a proud mom of two accomplished and expressive daughters—both college graduates—with one following her to beautiful Lincoln, continuing a family legacy built on strength, service, and plenty of personality.
