Spring holidays have arrived! It’s time to fill Easter baskets with vibrant colors, candied eggs, and a variety of chocolate. That means chocolate shaped like eggs, chocolate shaped like a soccer ball and most importantly, chocolate bunnies filled with even more chocolate.
Oliver’s Candies is a one-stop shop to help you fill those baskets and more. At 211 W. Main St., Batavia, Oliver’s Candies has specialized in making chocolate for 90 years. The chocolate is handcrafted in small batches for exceptional taste. With guaranteed quality, a visit to the historic candy store is a unique experience to share with friends and family.
Established in 1932 by Joseph Boyd Oliver, Oliver’s Candies began when Oliver first blanched peanuts in his home and started selling those peanuts to local gas stations. Those peanuts are now called Cashew Glaze and Hostess Squares and are sold on site at Oliver’s Candies in Batavia.
Whether you’re looking to indulge in a sweet treat after a Muckdogs game or your prepping goodies for Easter, Mother’s Day or last-minute teacher gifts, Oliver’s Candies offers chocolate delectables for all palates.
Open from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily, you can taste your way through your favorite pastime or try a new flavor from the ice cream parlor. For more information, call (585) 343-5888.
